Return & Refund Policy – SCL Performance

At SCL Performance, all products undergo a rigorous quality control inspection prior to shipment to ensure premium fitment and finish. Due to the specialized nature of aftermarket carbon fiber, all sales are final unless they meet the specific criteria below.

Returns

Returns are accepted strictly under the following conditions:
• Condition: Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
• Timeframe: A return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
• Shipping & Risk: The customer is responsible for all return shipping fees. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. SCL Performance is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
• Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies to all approved returns.


SCL Performance reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these requirements.


Non-Returnable Items:

We do not accept returns for:
• Installed, used, or modified products.
• Custom or special-order items.
• Items with minor cosmetic imperfections (characteristics inherent to the hand-laid carbon fiber manufacturing process).
• Clearance, "Open Box," or discounted items.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged, you must:
1.    Notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
2.    Provide clear photos of the damaged product and the condition of the exterior packaging.
3.    Keep all packaging materials until the claim is resolved.
Note: If the shipping box is visibly crushed or opened upon delivery, please note "Damaged" on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.
Fitment & Installation
Professional installation by a shop experienced in aftermarket composites is strongly recommended. SCL Performance is not liable for:
• Improper installation or damage during the install process.
• Labor costs or shop fees under any circumstances.
• Minor modifications (sanding, shimming, or drilling) required for aftermarket fitment.

Order Cancellations:

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After this 24-hour window, the order may already be in production or processing and cannot be canceled or modified.


Refunds:

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds (minus the 20% restocking fee) will be processed to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days.
